Run on your own server

Close your laptop. Keep the robot running.

Send a strategy from XTester Studio to your own or rented server. The robot keeps running when you disconnect. Return to XTester Studio to check its state, read the journal or stop it.

On your server, you can run the robot in Paper mode with simulated orders, or use HyperLiquid Testnet for USDT futures. Mainnet trading is not available through this remote setup. Configure the Testnet account on the server; deployment does not copy exchange keys from your computer.

Windows or Ubuntu

Windows

Windows x64 with administrator access.

Ubuntu

Ubuntu 22.04 or later, x64, with administrator access.

You’ll need SSH access to the server, administrator privileges and at least 2 GB of free disk space.

How server setup works

  1. Server connection

XTester Studio connects using the server address, username and SSH connection details you provide. You verify the server’s identity before connecting.

  2. Server setup

XTester Studio checks the system. You then approve the installation of the components needed to run robots.

  3. Strategy deployment

You choose the saved server for your strategy, review the profile and mode, and confirm deployment.

  4. Robot controls

In XTester Studio, you can check the robot’s state, read its journal and control it. The server view also shows uptime, CPU, memory and disk information.

Your server stays under your control

You choose and maintain the server and pay your hosting provider. This is not an XTester-managed hosting subscription. If the connection drops, check the robot’s state before launching it again: disconnection does not stop it.
